1. Q: Why is it called " Mobile " Storage? What is " Mobile " Storage?

We call it “Mobile" Storage because we bring the Mobile storage container to your door. It's the easiest way to store or move your belongings because you can load at your leisure without having to worry about transporting your stuff to and from a storage facility. Mobile Storage is also referred to as portable storage or container storage.

2. Q: What are the main advantages of Mobile Storage?

• Convenience! You can load and unload at your leisure because we let you keep the Mobile container for as long as you need them. And you don't have to worry about renting a truck or dealing with transporting your belongings to a storage facility, because we do that work for you. Our Mobile container are placed at ground level, which makes loading and unloading a whole lot more convenient than walking up and down a steep loading ramp.

• Save Time! Because you don't have to bother with reserving and renting a truck or finding another way to transport your things to a self-storage facility, you'll save lots of time by using Mobile Storage.

• Less Damage to Your Belongings! Mobile Storage helps you prevent damage to your belongings, which can occur each time you move your things. By only loading and unloading your belongings once into the Mobile container, you avoid a lot of the handing that occurs when you load into a truck and then into a storage unit and then back into another truck when you vacate.

3. Q: How much does Canadian Storage Solutions Mobile Storage cost?

The Mobile storage containers are priced on a monthly basis. Canadian Storage Solutions does require a one-month minimum, but after that, you can terminate your storage whenever you desire with no penalty. Please click here to see our rates and pricing schedule.

4. Q: Do I have to pay delivery charges for your Mobile Storage service?

Canadian Storage Solutions charges a $35 movement fee for local-area delivery. This is charged on delivery, on pickup or on movement to another location. You don't pay any other set-up or hidden administrative fees.

5. Q: Do I need to sign a long-term contract to receive lower pricing?

No way! We know it's hard to predict how long you'll need to store with us, so at Canadian Storage Solutions, there are no long-term contracts to sign. After the first month, you can terminate your Mobile Storage whenever you desire with no penalty and you will only pay for the number of days that you store with us that month.

6. Q: How big are Canadian Storage Solutions Mobile Storage containers?

Our Mobile Storage containers are 7'3” wide x 7’3” high. They can range in length from 7’3” to 16’5”. Please visit the storage calculator page for your particular needs.

7. Q: How do I know how many Mobile Storage containers I'll need?

In general, one Mobile Storage container will hold 1 to 1½ rooms of furniture or household goods. If you overestimate the number of Mobile container that you need, we'll happily pick up the empty Mobile container without charge.

8. Q: Where can you put the Mobile Storage containers? Where will they fit?

Because we use a knuckle crane with a 33’ ft extension to position our Mobile Storage container, we can put them wherever they will be most convenient for you to load or unload. Our Mobile container will fit anywhere that a car can fit, so they can be placed in a driveway, parking space (for businesses and apartment complexes) on a lawn or even in your back yard. If the Mobile container will be located on your personal property, then it can be placed just about anywhere you desire. 9. Q: What are the Mobile Storage containers made out of?

Canadian Storage Solutions Mobile Storage containers are constructed out of corrugated galvanized steel making them weather-tight, secure and durable.

10. Q: How can I protect my belongings from damage while the Mobile Storage container is being transported?

The best way to protect your belongings is to pack the contents of the Mobile Storage container as tightly as possible. Make sure to put the heaviest items on the bottom and fill in any empty spaces where contents might shift during transport. There are four tie-downs in the corners of the Mobile container to help you secure larger items. 11. Q: Can I keep the Mobile Storage containers on my property, instead of storing them at Canadian Storage Solutions Mobile Storage Facility?

Because Canadian Storage Solutions Mobile Storage container are constructed out of corrugated galvanized steel making them weather-tight & secure they can be stored anywhere you desire. You can take your time and fill them over a period of time and have it stored with us, moved to a new location or left on your premises.

12. Q: How long do I have to load or unload my Mobile Storage containers?

We want you to enjoy the incredible convenience of Mobile Storage and load at your leisure. Therefore, we'll give you as much time as you need to load or unload your Mobile Storage container.

13. Q: Will my large household items fit in a Mobile Storage container?

Almost all household goods will fit into our Mobile Storage containers, including a king-size bed and baby-grand piano. Most large armoires or other tall items will fit into the Mobile container if laid on their side. The maximum length or height that will fit into the Mobile container is 16”5".

14. Q: Do I need to get my own lock and key?

Canadian Storage Solutions will provide you with high-security locks and keys for your Mobile Storage container. For your security, we do not have or keep a copy of your keys, so please keep them in a safe place.

15. Q: Can I access my belongings while they are in storage?

Of course! You can access your Mobile Storage container anytime during normal business hours (usually 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday). Simply give us a call - we request a 24 hour notice - and we'll position your Mobile Storage containers in a convenient and safe place either inside our Mobile Storage facility or outside for easy access.

16. Q: Can we visit your Mobile Storage facility to see what they look like?

Absolutely! Canadian Storage Solutions takes pride in the fact that our Mobile Storage facilities are clean, safe, and secure environments for our associates and for your belongings.

17. Q: What kind of security do you have at your Mobile Storage facilities?

Canadian Storage Solutions Mobile Storage facilities utilize state-of-the-art security systems including digital video camera surveillance as well as motion sensor and entry alarm systems.

18. Q: Can I be guaranteed of the delivery day and time that I want?

Our goal is to be able to fulfill all requests with 24-hr notice, but we recommend that you call three days in advance, as certain days are more popular and fill up more quickly than others. Although we cannot guarantee an exact delivery or pick-up time, we can guarantee a morning or afternoon appointment.

19. Q: Can I get insurance for my belongings?

While your belongings are in our Mobile Storage facility, Canadian Storage Solutions can provide property protection of up to $10,000 per mobile container for an additional charge. (While the Mobile containers are on your property, the contents are covered by your homeowner's insurance.)

20. Q: Does Canadian Storage Solutions sell packing supplies?

Yes. Canadian Storage Solutions offers a variety of container and packing supplies to help you move and protect your belongings. Please go to our packing supplies page to see what we offer. For your convenience, we can include these container and packing supplies in the Mobile Storage container when we deliver it to your house, or you can stop by our location to purchase container and packing supplies.
